Subway sales benefit children - Thu Sep 16

Subway Restaurants across Kamloops are donating $1 from every foot long sub and 50 cents from every six-inch sandwich sold to the CHILD (Children with Intestinal and Liver Disorders) Foundation on Thursday, Sept. 16, as part of its Subway Day For A Child event.

Local TV and radio personalities will once again lend their talents as volunteer sandwich artists.

Subway has raised more than $268,000 for the CHILD Foundation since 1998.

We have decided to have our 1st meeting this fall as a social event and would invite everyone to come out.

MONDAY September 20,
2:30 pm for golf & dinner
5:00 pm for social
6:30 pm for just dinner & social
at the PINERIDGE GOLF COURSE

Come on out early if you want for a round of golf or just come for the social time, and if you can't make that, join us for dinner.

Tee off times
2:30 - 3:30 Golf 18 holes, Cost $ 23.00 + GST
3:00 - 4:00 Golf 9 holes, Cost $ 16.00 + GST

Social in Club House
5:00 - 6:30 Social time at Club House
6:30 - 8:00 Dinner,Chicken BBQ Buffet
Cost $ 12.50 + GST
Dinner cost for Golfers $ 10.50 + GST

Broadcast Course offers tips for professionals - Wed Oct 13

Marketing Professional Services is the topic up for discussion at a broadcast course through Edward Jones professional education network.

Hosted by Deryl Priebe, investment representative from Edward Jones in Valleyview, the session is being held Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m.

The course includes marketing techniques, developing client referral sources and working with other professionals to generate new business.
